Get your first export started

PruneSocial reads the data download each platform gives you. Instagram, Facebook, Threads and YouTube often arrive within hours, so request one of those first and run a free preview the same sitting. X and LinkedIn usually take about a day, TikTok and Pinterest up to a couple of days, and Reddit asks you to allow up to 30 days. You can add the others later, within 60 days of buying a report. Waiting? See a sample report.

1. Request your export

Each card says what to pick so the file comes back usable. Tick “I requested it” to keep track. That list is saved in this browser only.

2. Remind yourself to come back

Pick one, or both. Neither one signs you up for anything.

Or add a calendar reminder

Downloads a small calendar file titled “Check email for your export.” It’s made on your device, and nothing is sent to us.

Want it done? Get your report now, upload when the exports arrive

You can buy the Screening Report today and add your exports as each one lands. Your purchase includes 3 report runs within 60 days, so add platforms as they arrive and re-check after you clean up. Your report link comes by email right away, and we’ll send a short note if a few days pass without a report.

The 30-day guarantee counts from your first report, not from the day you buy, so waiting on a slow export doesn’t use it up. If you never run a report, you can ask for a refund within 60 days of purchase.

3. While you wait: a 15-minute public check

Your export shows your history. It doesn’t show what strangers can see today. This check does.

  1. Open each profile while logged out, or in a private browser window. Note what you can see.
  2. Look at your profile photo, cover photo, bio, and anything pinned or featured. These are often public even on a private account.
  3. Search your name, your email, and the usernames you use most. Confirm each result is really you.
  4. Review photos and posts other people tagged you in, and turn on tag review where the platform offers it.
  5. Think of comments you’ve left on public pages and posts. Those sit under someone else’s settings.
  6. List old accounts you no longer use. Lock them down or close them.

A login wall or a missing search result isn’t proof that something is private. More in archive vs. public profile.

4. When your export arrives

Download the ZIP and leave it zipped. Drop it into the scanner for a free 50-item preview. If something goes wrong, see fixes for common export problems.
